Hainan has a tropical monsoon climate. Its average annual temperature is  22-26°C (71-79°F) and the temperature is coldest in January and February when it averages around 16-21°C (61-70°F). Annually there is 1750-2650 hours of sunshine.

In Britain, the weather is changeable by the hour and is largely unpredictable due to the UK being in the middle of two major weather systems, the Atlantic and the European continental systems. The British summer is the best time for tourists.

Feeling

Adrift in the tropical waters of the South China Sea and occupying an area of 35,000 sq km, the Hainan Island is at the southernmost tip of China and is just a short flight from Guangzhou and Hong Kong (both 1 hr). Hainan boasts long stretches of powder white sand, swaying coconut palms, rolling green hills, and an abundance of tropical vegetation.  Being an island, Hainan feels different from the mainland of China to a tourist in many aspects, such as culture, food, tourism, nature, and weather.

Enríquez Savignac, a former Secretary-General of the United Nations World Tourism Organization once said: "Hainan is a masterpiece of the Creator, a brilliant pearl for all mankind". Hainan has over 60 beaches suitable for swimming. In addition, scuba diving can be done along the coast. A master combination of the modern with the tradition. A place with rocket scientists at a space centre contrasting with ancient ethnic villages in protected reserves unspoil by too many modern conveniences.

The United Kingdom is rich in culture from all over the globe and has had a huge expansion as the British Empire. The Royal pageantry is the best in the world. England is very competitive as a tourist destination.
